- Thought provoking. From the very first devotion, I was pulled into the real world of problems that other women and I face. I mean, not a disorganized spice rack or not enough shoe storage or a nosey Mother in law. There were revelations of a more gritty "turn this to God so I can survive through it" nature. There were questions that hit me where I live and breathe. I'm not alone. I'm sorry other women are struggling, but, what a comfort to know Im not struggling alone! God is able to use their stories as a help to others.
- This is a pick-me-up devotional I couldn't put down. I found this book to be very easy to digest and even though it a devotional, I couldn't put it down and just keep reading through most of it in one sitting (which is a feat in my household with 3 small children). I really appreciate the different writing styles, personal stories and encouragement that the authors of this book shared. I love the simple, " Purpose, Practice, Prayer, Promise" to tie everything all together.
